In the words of the American rock band Train, “Meet Virginia.”
Virginia, the 1991 Volvo 240, was factory-ordered by Volvo enthusiasts Virginia and Bobby Gibbs of Santa Fe, New Mexico and sold by Santa Fe Mazda-Volvo. Virginia is HANDS-DOWN one of the most well-documented 240s we have ever seen. With just over 30k miles on her beautifully working equally as well-documented odometer, the car is finished in Beige Metallic 400 (a $265 paint upgrade!), over a camel fabric interior which has spent the majority of its life under a set of sheepskin seat covers, so they’re perfect. Further preservation of the vehicle’s interior was ensured by the window tint installed on the car when new, though that tint has since been removed. Paired with a AW70 automatic transmission and featuring, among other things, heated seats, cruise control, and a factory sunroof, Virginia is above average in the equipment category too!
Offered for sale by its second owner who purchased it last year from the original owner’s family, this accident-free 240 is in impeccable condition, and includes every single document ever accrued for the duration of its ownership. The vehicle is in perfect working order, and includes a newer set of Michelin tires, recent documented maintenance, and has a leak-free undercarriage. Although it currently wears early-style 14” hubcaps, the originals are included with the sale.
Virginia has been sold, but if you’re interested in owning an Auslander 240, please check out our other listings, or contact us to discuss the type of vehicle you have your heart set on!
